Mag. Günther Patterer, MBA BSc
As the Founder & CEO of the Vienna-based AI startup speak23, Günther bridges his extensive background in the global technology sector with molecular biology. After his successful career in the IT- and Software Industry - including roles as Global Vice President at SAP and leadership positions at Cisco and IBM - he returned to academia to earn a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna.
At speak23, apart from his role as managing director, Günther leads the development of AI-assisted health intelligence solutions, focusing on the integration of biomarker data to identify patterns, support personalized insights, promote healthy aging and long-term well-being.
Lisa Patterer, MSc
Lisa works at the intersection of personalized medicine and longevity research. She holds an MSc in Molecular Precision Medicine from the Medical University of Vienna and a BSc in Molecular Biotechnology. She gained international research experience at institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the University of Barcelona.
As Chief Medical & Scientific Officer at speak23, Lisa leads the medical and scientific strategy, including the design of clinically meaningful biomarker panels and the coordination of partner laboratories. She works at the interface of medicine, data science, and regulation, ensuring that complex biological data are translated into medically sound, interpretable insights within a secure, GDPR-compliant framework.
Marlene Patterer, BSc
Marlene combines her background in neuroscience with frontend engineering and commercial strategy. She earned her BSc in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Cell & Tissue Engineering and is currently completing her MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Vienna. Having trained at international research institutions like Cambridge University, she is now collaborating with Columbia University's Makinson Lab. There, her research focuses on identifying blood-based biomarkers of blood–brain barrier dysfunction, with the goal of translating these findings into early brain-health diagnostics for the speak23 platform.
In her role as Sales/Marketing & UX/UI Design Officer at speak23, Marlene oversees frontend architecture design, scientific communication, and social media strategy, while actively driving direct sales and managing the customer onboarding experience.
